
SAN MARCOS, Guatemala – Within 24 hours of a destructive 7.4-magnitude quake in Guatemala, Operation Blessing teams are bringing critical relief to victims.
In the hard-hit province of San Marcos, teams are delivering food, water, medicine, and other emergency relief to victims. According to government reports, an estimated 17,000 people have been affected by the quake.


In some areas where roads are impassable, teams are delivering aid by foot to help families and communities who have not yet received any humanitarian aid.


Through the help of partnering churches and other groups on the ground, several hundred families a day are benefiting from the relief distributions.
